Since I registered the domain “andrey.by” at 2008, I wanted to run a personal website on it. My first attempt even had not been finalised. I had ordered a unique blog design containing a picture of me driving BMW Z4 roadster and moving forward to the sunset, it was coded to HTML, but the integration with CMS had never happened.

A year after I had finally understood that something is better than nothing. So I opened Notepad app on my laptop and created a simple page containing my contact email.

For the next several years I just used to update background image from time to time. Only in 2016 did I realise, that I had so much to share. My connections network was wide. I felt obliged to complete that project. I made a unique WordPress theme and you can check below how my entrepreneur blog did look:

It was multilingual, but in fact I used Russian version only, because it was too difficult for me to express complex thoughts in English.

I wrote ±25 articles, reviewing computer technologies, business related themes, affiliate marketing, traffic, networking, and for sure myself. The blog seemed to be a very useful tool for discovering how I operated, why I had made those exact solutions and where I was weak or stupid. It also helped to attract new people to my life. They were able to get acquainted with me and start communicating.

Since 2018 I was completely focused on ABC Mobile business. I stopped publishing articles, but their place was taken by short Facebook and Instagram posts. The situation with the business was becoming more and more complicated, and the more difficult it was to keep the company running, the less energy I was able to spend to create content.

Finally I came to a conclusion, that it was better to renew the website completely, because the blog with no updates was not attractive. I had chosen Tilda as a no-code platform and created a new project, with no blog section at all. It was a kind of business card, with short intro containing my actual contacts.

At 2022 putin started terrible war in Ukraine. I banned all russia-related products in order not to sponsor their aggression. Tilda is a russian platform, so I had stopped paying for the subscription. My site was blocked and remained unavailable for several months.

Till today.

As I want to build communication with people, it’s very important for me to have a platform, where I can share thoughts and ideas, publish updates to attract people who have the same vision as I do. Time shows that WordPress is a very stable and useful solution to run a blog, so I installed it and attached my domain. That’s what you see here now. The site design isn’t made by me that time, I don’t have so much time to develop and handle updates for responsive theme with multiply features, so I’ve chosen a commercial one and tuned it as I prefer.

I will practice my English here (and maybe Español & Deutsch soon as well), share my updates and ideas, build new connections and support existing ones. Hope that you will like my content and find time to check upcoming posts.
